To strengthen the S&OP; (Sales & Operations Planning) Team of the Business Line Advanced Materials Europe, we are looking for a SCM / S&OP; Reservations Managing Expert (m/f/d).
Purpose of the role
As a Reservations Managing Expert you will coordinate the process to fill the assigned production capacities with sales orders in an efficient way. You will ensure that the available capacity allocations are fully used, overbooking are avoided, and unused reservations are allocated to alternative Sales teams in order to ensure optimal capacity utilization.
What you will do
Reservation Process Ownership
Facilitate the process of Reservation Management
Maintenance and development of all related tools and systems
Providing transparent reporting about reservation status
Manage reservations
prepare reservations table by areas / segments
maintain and update sales reservations
provide online access and regular emails of reservation view
Provide and publish sales reservations
set up reservations based on demand / supply balancing
align reservations table to allocation optimization
rebalance reservations while needed
Lead weekly reservations meeting
prepare reservation status by area / segment
identify actions required (over- or under bookings)
record, follow up and confirm reservations changes
Process and System development
Actively involved in further defining and establishing the Reservation to-be processes
Drive system development in the new OMP environment
The essentials
University degree in Business administration or similar
First experience in Sales or SCM is preferred, ideally in the process industry
Good analytical skills and enthusiasm for quantitative decision making
Good skills in spreadsheet and relational database tools
Strong drive for continuous improvement and personal development
Good sense of urgency to find solutions
Good communication and influencing abilities in a multinational environment
Excellent level in English is needed
The team
As a member of the SCM team of the Business Line Advanced Materials you will report to VP S&OP; Business Line Advanced Materials and work alongside a multinational team of eight. Our purpose is to balance overall demand and supply in the tactical horizon in order to ensure optimal use of our assets.
In your role as a Reservations Managing Expert, you will work closely with the Sales team of Business Line Advanced Materials and Supply Chain Management colleagues.
Location
Flexible - at any Outokumpu European location, preferred Germany or Sweden.
