Your Mission
In this role, you will be the key link between Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) and our production processes. You will transform forecasts into actionable production plans, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvements to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and execute production plans on a quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis.
Act as a super user for key planning tools (OMP Tactical Planner & OCP).
Support forecasting for production, shipments, and invoicing.
Perform gap analyses and take action to improve performance.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and optimize working capital.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production goals with business needs.

In the role as Coordinator in the Meltshop department, you will support the management team by coordinating tasks related to the process chain. The Meltshop at Outokumpu in Avesta includes around 190 employees and are the first part of the steel production, where all recycled scrap is analysed, sorted, melted, refined, fine-tuned and cast and then hot- and cold-grinded.

About the role
Coordinate different types of projects and update status in project portal
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of employees
Coordinate and unify training efforts such as e g. Safe start, Manufacturing Excellence, mandatory trainings, etc
Administrative and coordinative support in business planning and reporting – staffing, root cause analyses, 5S, orders & invoices, reviews, audits, etc
Continuous work to improve and develop both the business and the role
In addition, tasks assigned by works management

About you
High school diploma and/or Postgraduate education in project management, technology (process), HR or administration is meritorious
Some years of work experience in similar role or process industry
Experience in project coordination and project administration
You have a structured and methodical work attitude, can easily get an overview, prioritize, and make decisions in your tasks
You often find yourself being the person that pulls the strings together, creating good overview and progress within your responsibility
Very good ability to communicate and cooperate with colleagues and stakeholders
Deep knowledge in Microsoft Office
Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)

About the role:
Deliver schedules for our melt shop, plan our hot rolling mill and other down stream facilities
Handle production results; plan for rework and/ or re-allocate material to orders
Analyze service level (delivery precision) and find continuous improvement actions needed
Collaborate with people in different departments, mills and levels
Temporary contract (1 year) and (day time or 2 shift scheme).


Who are you?
A Master's degree in relevant field (for example material, industrial economics, information science, engineering or metallurgy)
1-2 years of relevant work experience is an advantage
Strong interest in local and international challenges and willingness to travel

Om tjänsten
Som produktionsutvecklare har du en central roll på kartongbruket i att utveckla verksamhetens arbetssätt genom att utbilda, vägleda och utmana i förändringsledning samt i specifika metoder och verktyg som exempelvis förbättringsgrupper, operatörsunderhåll, daglig styrning och 5S.
I din vardag kommer du att kartlägga och analysera verksamhetens nuläge och potential gällande ständiga förbättringar inom effektivitet och maskinsäkerhet, och sedan utifrån detta föreslå och genomföra förbättringar.
Rollen innebär nära samarbete med kollegor inom ledningsteamet för kartongbruket samt med övriga produktionsutvecklare på bruket. På det sättet får du inblick i alla sektioners verksamhet och får arbeta med övergripande projekt för att introducera nya arbetssätt och digitala verktyg.
