We are looking for Supply Chain Logistics Manager, Sweden to lead our mill logistics teams in Fors and Skoghall and be responsible of outbound logistics. Your location will preferably be Skoghall or Fors mill but other locations in Sweden could be considered as well. You will be working in the Packaging Materials Division and report to Head of Supply chain logistics.

About the position
As a Supply Chain Logistics country manager, you lead Supply Chain logistics Swedish teams through clear and aligned targets and priorities to run daily operations.
Together with other colleagues in the team, you make sure that our orders are booked and delivered on time and customer promise will be fulfilled. Additionally, you’ll in your daily work investigate and solve all type of problems that will turn up. You actively participate on the development actions to improve service, reduce supply chain cost, and inventory and improve cost efficiency in logistics. You are the hub of contact both internally and externally and handle a large network of contacts involving production, customer service and external service providers.

About you
In order to succeed in this role, you have strong experience from logistics or supply chain, knowledge of order fulfilment process and you are experienced to lead people. You have process mindset and structured way of working and you are able to generate proactive performance culture and customer centricity. You preferably have University degree.
You are a great communicator, and you communicate fluently in English and Swedish.

We at Outokumpu are looking for a Logistics Manager to effectively lead and manage the logistics activities for our sites in Sweden. In this role, you will deliver value by optimizing the logistics network with the aim to reduced spend, improve on-time delivery, and strive for operational excellence. Together, you and your team of experts will continuously build, improve, and re-invent our processes in light of our ways of working, meaning safety, sustainability, and the utilization of our greatest resource – our people.
In this role, there is close cooperation with Logistics/SCM departments and functions across Outokumpu’s European sites to ensure company-wide collaboration, optimization, and sharing of best practices. The position is located in Avesta, Sweden and you will be reporting to Vice President Logistics Europe.


Your role
Lead the Logistics planning department towards set performance targets
Design, implement and maintain optimal transportation systems for our Swedish sites
Monitor and direct transport, intercompany, finished goods, and inbound flows in the region
Contribute to (S)OTIF by minimizing logistic related losses and engaging with wider SCM teams to develop planning routines
Coordinate, review, and report Logistics-related performance measurements internally and with service providers
Maintain close interactions with other regional Logistics department in BA Europe
Work closely with other SCM functions to ensure refined cooperation and proactivity
Manage the operational aspects of ongoing Logistics projects and serve as the liaison between multiple project stakeholders and functions
Coordinate and lead the introduction of new processes and systems

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field
+5 years of experience and extensive knowledge in the transport industry
Strong experience and expert skills in collecting and analyzing spend and transport market data
Fully fluent in Swedish and English languages
Ability to travel up to 20% of the allocated time
